I generally don't do well with Full Bodied smokes and usually ends with hiccups somewhere through the experience. Burned even and easy draw from start to finish. My Father Le Bijou 1922 Torpedo - A+ Experience, 16th Feb 2020 I didn't care for the strong coffee bean flavor but other than that this cigar was an excellent smoke. The stick was excellently made and the burn was even. The final third produced fresh oak and much more coffee bean. The second third was a little more coffee bean and aged cedar with a hint of creamy caramel. A French inhale was chocolate and black cherries. The retro hale was dark chocolate and peppery spice.
The flavors were of fine tobacco, dark chocolate covered raisins, cedar, cured leather, coffee beans, and powdered cocoa, with a hint of black cherries. Upon firing up the few first puffs were startling strong but soon mellowed out.
The predraw had the same taste accented with breeze of summer hay. The pre-lit stick had a luxurious aroma of dark chocolate and savory tobacco an almost delicious scent.
